On the afternoon of November 15th, the Law School hosted a distinguished lecture on the theme of "Curriculum Development under the Digital Transformation of Education" in the simulated courtroom of the Sanjiang Building. The event featured a special lecture by Professor Mei Qiang, a national teaching master. Over 50 faculty members and students from the college attended the lecture, which was presided over by Li Bingshuo, the Dean of the Law School.

The rapid development of information technology has brought about the emergence of new technologies, devices, and models, continuously driving the transformation of traditional educational concepts, models, and methods, and promoting changes in learning methods and educational forms. Firstly, Professor Mei Qiang introduced the connotation and strategic background of promoting the digital transformation of education. In the context of educational digitization, information technology is applied in areas such as classroom teaching, learning management, assessment, and feedback, to enhance teaching effectiveness, provide richer and more diverse learning resources, and promote personalized and lifelong learning for students. Secondly, he introduced the improvement of teachers' digital literacy under the background of educational digital transformation, emphasizing that higher education has entered a new normal of talent cultivation. Furthermore, using the example of entrepreneurship education curriculum development and virtual simulation project construction, he explained the curriculum development and virtual simulation construction under the background of educational digital transformation and encouraged everyone to use various information technology means to build high-level online course systems, create intelligent learning environments, effectively improve the quality of online teaching, and enable students to simulate relevant practical activities in less time and at lower costs, realizing the integration of theory and practice in training. Finally, he emphasized that the digital transformation of education needs to start from various aspects such as the digitization of educational resources, teaching methods, and educational management, collaborating to achieve the modernization and high-quality development of education and teaching.

Professor Mei Qiang currently serves as the Vice President of the China Enterprise Management Research Association and the Chief Expert of the Jiangsu Small and Medium Enterprise Development Research Base. He has previously served as a member of the Teaching Guidance Committee for Management Science and Engineering majors of the Ministry of Education. He has been awarded honors such as the Special Government Allowance Expert by the State Council and the Outstanding Contribution Young and Middle-aged Expert in Jiangsu Province.
