Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Education issued the Notice on Announcing the List of National and Provincial First-class Undergraduate Major Construction Sites in 2020 (No.7〔2021〕 of the Department of Education and Higher Education),  Law major is listed on the list, and successfully selected as a national first-class undergraduate major construction site.

The legal education of Jiangsu University has a development history of more than 30 years, and is an discipline in liberal arts majors. Since 1985, we have trained junior college students for the mechanical industry. Since 1987, it has recruited undergraduates of economic law from all over the country. In 2006, our school established the law school by integrating the resources in the school, and the law education of Jiangsu University has embarked on the road of rapid development since then. At present, the law major is actively exploring and innovating a talent training mode of cross-type "new liberal arts" ,actively promoting cross-integration and integrated innovation between the law major and agriculture disciplines, medical disciplines, intellectual property disciplines, etc, forming a cross-type, integrated talent training system, and contributing to the the training of legal talents.
