On the afternoon of May 13, Wu Jin 'e, a young teacher held an open class entitled "Criminal Trial and Public Justice Intuition" for the teachers and students of the Law School, namely an academic salon activity. Vice Dean Niu Yubing, Associate Professor Wang Chunlin, Associate Professor Wu Qiuyuan and Associate Professor Shentu Xiaoli held academic talks. Some leaders of the law School and all young teachers observed the event,which was presided over by Professor Li Bingshuo, Dean of the Law School.
Wu Jin 'e's lecture began with the trial of the case “Girl selling passion fruit raped and killedl”, and discussed the controversial focus of the case, that is, whether the offender Yang should be given a lenient punishment based on his surrender. Then, from the perspective of legal provisions and social repercussions, Wu Jin 'e analyzed the judgment of the case. This academic salon is a collision and exchange of ideas among teachers of law school.
