Recently, good news came from the joint construction project between the Standing Committee of Zhenjiang Municipal People's Congress and the legislative School of Jiangsu University. The Department of Education and the Department of Science and Technology of Jiangsu Province awarded the honorary title of "Jiangsu graduate workstation" to the legal committee of the Standing Committee of Zhenjiang Municipal people's Congress, which is the first in the provincial people's Congress system. This award is not only an affirmation of cooperation, but also adds impetus to further deepen cooperation.

As one of the first cities in Jiangsu Province to newly obtain local legislative power, on October 31, 2017, the Standing Committee of Zhenjiang Municipal People's Congress and Jiangsu University held a signing ceremony for University and local cooperation. The two sides set up "Zhenjiang Local Legislation Research Center" in Jiangsu University, set up "excellent legal talent training workstation of Jiangsu University" in the legal work committee, and established a database of local legislation, which is the first time that the provincial people's Congress system has carried out this two-way mutual construction model.
