On June 4, teachers and students of the "law clinic" of Jiangsu University walked into Jurong village, Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province to provide accurate legal services for local agricultural E-commerce entrepreneurs and help farmers become "people who understand" relevant laws.
In the preliminary investigation, the "legal clinic" team found that there were many problems in the development of local agricultural E-commerce, including the legitimate use of national geographical indications of agricultural products, unfair competition of rural E-commerce, application and protection of agricultural products trademarks, etc. Wei Xiaoqiang, a teacher at the law school of Jiangsu University, introduced that the team made special "diagnosis and treatment" for these focal legal problems, put forward specific and operable solutions and sent them to farmers.
Throughout the day, 22 teachers and students of our "law clinic" sent legal services to villages and farmers in Fanzhong’s farm, Jurong E-commerce public service center, Jurong slow life Ecological Agriculture. Wei Xiaoqiang said that the team would continue to follow up and provide farmers with whole process public welfare legal clinic services.
Li bingshuo said that as one of the important contents of the college's practical work for the people, the "legal clinic" will also go to areas such as Danyang and Yixing to carry out legal assistance in new rural areas, take the law as the shield, protect agriculture rural areas and farmers, use legal services to help farmers avoid legal risks and contribute it. As a vivid practical teaching method, the "law clinic" also integrates elements such as the political identity, family and country feelings, legal literacy and professional ethics into all links of practical teaching, and cultivates college students' legal professional ethics and the concept of both morality and law.
